Unsung Heroes – The Golden Mask General Tips & Tricks

This section will help get you started with how to play Unsung Heroes – The Golden Mask. Learn how to play, how scoring works, and read an introduction on the game’s core features. Keep scrolling to learn more helpful tips and tricks!

How to Play

Unsung Heroes – The Golden Mask is a GameHouse Original Stories exclusive Time Management game. The goal of the game is to complete objectives within a certain amount of time. The better your performance, the higher your score will be!

Tap a station to direct a character to a specific location. Once they arrive, an order bubble will appear. Bring them the items they ask for, or help them complete a task when your character’s portrait appears in the order bubble. Once they’ve completed their task, they’ll check out automatically with the help of location managers.

Scoring and Customer Happiness

Happy workers are the key to earning high scores. Each customer will have a number of hearts above their head. As you bring them the items they request and assist them, more hearts will be added to their total displayed. Serve characters quickly to earn gold hearts and obtain the highest scores!

Artifacts & How to Unlock Xi Niu’s Levels

Unsung Heroes features two types of levels: the Present, where you’ll play as Ivy, and the Past, where you’ll play as Xi Niu. You will need to unearth and assemble artifacts in the present in order to unlock Xi Niu’s levels.

The Present is where you will find these Artifacts. As you increase your score at a dig site, your score bar will fill and reach Artifact pins. Reaching these pins will reveal the location of an Artifact. Tap the character displaying the New Artifact bubble and complete the minigame to unearth your new discovery!

Artifacts are split into multiple pieces. You will need to find them all in order to unlock new chapters set in the Past. Any progress you’ve made unlocking Artifacts will be saved automatically. Once you’ve found all the artifacts, assemble the pieces to unlock a new chapter of Xi Niu’s story!

Treasures

In addition to Artifacts, most levels in the Present also contain hidden Treasures.

As you earn points completing dig site tasks and assisting archaeologists, the meter in the upper right corner will fill. Once this meter has been filled, a new Treasure will be discovered. Tap the character displaying the Treasure icon to unearth your discovery!

You will need to replay a level several times in order to earn enough experience to unlock these Treasures. All progress you’ve made toward finding Treasures will automatically be saved and carry over the next time you play the level.

Mice Locations

Carl the mouse returns and is hidden in each level of the game. Depending on whether you’re playing a level set in the Present or the Past, the type of Carl you’ll find varies.

When playing levels in the Present, you will randomly encounter the Treasure icon once all the Artifacts have been found. Unearth this treasure to find the Jade Carl. Note: Though the Jade Carls use a Treasure icon, they will not count toward a level’s treasures.

When playing levels in the Past as Xi Niu, Carl the mouse will appear in his full furry glory. Listen for his squeak and tap on him before he disappears! For help finding Carl the mouse, visit the Mouse Locations section.

Upgrades

There are two types of upgrades in Unsung Heroes: Shop upgrades, and Concubine Rank.

Shop upgrades can be purchased at the beginning of each level set in the present. Use coins and gems you’ve found while playing to earn currency which can be used to upgrade tools and stations at the dig site.

Concubine Rank is Xi Niu’s personal upgrade system. Earn stars while playing levels set in the past to increase Xi Niu’s courtesan rank. Ranking up Xi Niu can boost her personal stats, such as Faster Movement, Slow Mood-Dropping, Faster Working, and Faster Restocking. You may even unlock new clothing and outfits for her to wear!

Additional Tips and Tricks

• Restock Products – Begin each day by restocking any products available in limited quantity to get a head start on service!

• Bonus Points – Earn bonus points by serving items quickly, serving customers back-to-back, or even swapping stations.

• Swapping Stations – If two customers want each other’s stations, tap one, then the other to have them swap!

• Don’t Keep Them Waiting – A maximum of 3 customers will wait to be assigned to stations. If more customers arrive while 3 are waiting, they will automatically leave! Customers will also leave mid-service if all their hearts run out.

• Earning Currency – Unearth coins and gems in the present to earn currency to invest in dig site upgrades!

• Find the Mouse – Find Carl the mouse to earn a score bonus while playing!

• Dress to Impress – Upgrade Xi Niu’s outfit to earn ability bonuses!

• Help! I can’t exit the game or find the map! – The map will unlock after you complete present day Level 1 and Chapter 1 of Xi Niu’s story. Once the map is unlocked, you can access it from any level by tapping the options button. To exit the game, tap the X located in the upper left corner of the map until you reach the Main Menu. From here, you can exit the game.

This Collector’s Edition upgrade is FREE for all GameHouse members – all you need to do is update your game. How do you update Jewel Match Solitaire Atlantis to Collector’s Edition on PC? Step 1 – Determining Your Platform

Depending on which version of our website you’re playing on or the Windows operating system you’re using, the instructions for updating your game differ slightly. Please refer to the screenshots in this guide to determine which platform and operating system applies to you.

Step 2 – Updating Your Game

In order to update Jewel Match Atlantis Solitaire to Collector’s Edition on our Classic platform, you’ll need to uninstall and redownload the game. Don’t worry – your save data will not be deleted. It will be kept safe and available to you as soon as you start up the new version of the game.

1. Click “My Games” at the top of the screen.

Step 1 – My Games Location – GameHouse

2. Select Jewel Match Atlantis Solitaire and click “PLAY”.
   (You may also select the game from the game page or GameHouse homepage.)

Step 2 – How to Update a Game – GameHouse

3. That’s it! The updated Collector’s Edition will automatically download and upgrade your game to Jewel Match Atlantis Solitaire Collector’s Edition.

If you’re a GameHouse Classic Member using the legacy version of our website on Windows 10:

1. Click the “Start” or “Search” menu on your computer, located in the lower left corner.

It’s a house where you can play games and share experiences with your friends – and though there may be distance, you’re still close in heart. This is a house we call GameHouse, and it’s a home for everyone.

Our team believes fun is an important part of keeping positive and continuing to enjoy each and every day. That’s why we’ve joined with the World Health Organization (WHO) and are practicing social distancing to help reduce the spread of COVID-19. Not only do we want to encourage the safety of our players, but we want to set an example as a team, too! That’s why we’ve opened our own homes to all of you – to continue to bring you the games that make things a little easier, a little happier, and a little more fun.

Half of our team is located in Spain. Each day brings a new challenge, including learning new ways to adapt and work from home. However, every one of our team members all over the world have come together to continue to launch the games you love. In fact, we’re proud to say it’s been our goal to continue to release games in their current timeframe, and it’s a goal we’ve met together as a team. Although times may feel uncertain, our games are something we want our players to be able to count on.

Get starting by learning the basics of how to play Heart’s Medicine – Season One Remastered Edition. Learn how scoring works, the significance of guinea pigs, useful tips and tricks, and more!

How to Play

Heart’s Medicine – Season One Remastered Edition is a GameHouse Original Stories exclusive Time Management game. The goal of the game is to help patients quickly with the right treatment.

Patients will tell you which station they require when they enter the room. Tap the patient, then tap the station to send them there.

Once the patient reaches the station, you can begin treating them. There are three types of treatments:

1. Regular Treatments – Marked with a green bubble. These treatments can be as simple as tapping the patient to have Allison assist them. Alternatively, the patient may request an item. Tap the item they request, then tap on the patient to take it to them.

2. Minigame Treatments – Marked with a blue bubble. These treatments require you to play and complete a minigame in order to treat the patient.

3. Action Treatments – Marked with a purple bubble. These treatments require you to perform a touch gesture or action. Touch gestures include:

• Rub – Click or tap and hold, moving your cursor back and forth quickly within the circle.
• Drag – Click or tap and hold, moving your cursor in the direction of the arrow.
• Rotate – Click or tap the button and hold, moving the button around in a circle.
• Hold – Click or tap and hold within the circle until it’s filled.
• Click – Click or tap multiple times within the circle until it’s filled.

Once treatment is finished, the patient will walk to the checkout counter. Tap the computer monitor to check out patients. Their hearts will be converted to a score. Earn at least 1 star at the end of your shift to unlock the next level!

Scoring, Combos, and Customer Happiness

Scoring and Customer Happiness

Each patient will enter the clinic with hearts above their head. The quicker you treat them, the more hearts they’ll get. Ecstatic patients with the maximum happiness level will have Golden Hearts above their heads. Not only do these patients give the highest scores, but they’ll have infinite patience at the checkout counter!

If a patient is left alone too long, they’ll lose hearts. If a patient loses all their hearts, they’ll storm out of the clinic without giving you a score. Try to pay attention to each patient and earn as many hearts as possible!

Combos and Bonuses

Points are awarded based on your service. Successfully completing a combo or bonus will boost your score by awarding extra points. Combo types include:

• Quick Assign Bonus – Assign a patient to a station quickly to earn +1 point
• Quick Treatment Bonus – Treat a patient before the color drains from their bubble to earn a bonus of +1 heart
• Treatment Chain Bonus – Treat multiple patients in a row to earn +1 heart per additional treatment
• Checkout Combo – Check out multiple patients at the same time to earn a score boost
• Objective Complete – Complete the level’s bonus objective to earn a score bonus
• Oliver Bonus – Find Oliver in story levels to earn an extra score bonus

Stars, Upgrades, and Currency

While playing story levels, you will get 100 coins of shopping money per star you earn. Complete the story objective to earn a diamond.

Diamonds can also be earned by completing Challenge levels. You can earn up to 3 diamonds per each bonus challenge level.

Coins can be used to purchase upgrades for each clinic location, while diamonds can be used to purchase items for Allison’s office. Tap the diamond icon in the upper right corner to view Allison’s office. Select any level from the level select map to open up the shop and purchase upgrades for that location.

Oliver the Guinea Pig Locations

Oliver the guinea pig is back for Heart’s Medicine – Season One Remastered Edition. Oliver is hidden in each of the game’s story levels. Keep your eyes peeled and tap on Oliver before he disappears! For a list of all hidden Oliver locations, check out the Oliver Locations section.

Additional Tips and Tricks

It’s time to play Heart’s Medicine – Season One Remastered Edition! Here are a few extra tips and tricks to help you be the best doctor you can be:

• Restock Products – Restock any products with numbers beside them. Restock at the start of your shift to give yourself a head start on the day.

• Golden Hearts – Ecstatic patients with gold hearts over their head can wait at checkout indefinitely without their mood lowering. Use this to your advantage when lining up checkout combos!

• Upgrade Your Clinic – After selecting a level on the map, you’ll have the opportunity to purchase upgrades for that location. Use coins you’ve earned to buy upgrades. Any upgrade that has been purchased will automatically unlock for all levels in that chapter and remain unlocked permanently.

• Bonus Points – Earn bonus points by treating patients before the color drains from their order bubble.

• Find Oliver! – Find Oliver the guinea pig in the game’s story levels. If you can find all the guinea pigs, you’ll unlock a special achievement!

Chapter 1 – Diagnosis

Chapter 1 takes place in the Diagnosis clinic. It includes Story Levels 1 – 10 and Challenges 1 – 5.

Level 1

Earn 1 star in the first half of the day.

Earn your first star during the first half of your shift. The ideal time to do this is after you’ve assisted 2-3 patients, who will then wait at the register. Keep an eye on the shift clock and tap the monitor to check them out before your shift is halfway done!

Level 2

Make 10 patients leave the room ecstatic.

Ecstatic patients are patients who have the maximum number of hearts filled over their head. Once all these hearts have been filled, they will become golden! Golden heart customers will be willing to wait at the register for as long as you need. Check out 10 patients with golden hearts.

Gather the cookies.

A little way into your shift, there will be a confrontation in the clinic. Now there’s cookies scattered everywhere! Find and click all 10 cookies before the end of your shift. Pick them up and complete the day’s story challenge. Their locations are pictured below:

Don’t let any patients drop below 3 hearts.

Complete your shift without any patients dropping below 3 hearts. Treat patients in a timely fashion, and be careful not to leave anyone waiting too long. Once the color drains from an order bubble, a patient will start to lose hearts.

Tip! Patients at checkout who don’t have golden hearts will lose hearts, too! Make sure not to forget them.

Treat Dex.

Only have a single item on the tray at any given time.

Clean up the mess.

Uh-oh, there’s a mess on the floor! Tap the mess marked with a “!” bubble beside the checkout counter to begin cleaning. A meter will appear displaying your progress. You can stop cleaning to serve patients any time by tapping the patient, station, or an item. Tap the mess to resume cleaning. Finish cleaning before the end of your shift to complete the story objective and earn a diamond.

Patch up Dex.

Get 10 quick bonuses in a row.

Get 10 Quick Bonuses in a row! Once a patient reaches a treatment station, treat them quickly by either bringing the item they need, or fulfilling their treatment request. Do this before the color drains from their request bubble to earn a Quick Bonus! Earn 10 Quick Bonuses in a row.

Tip! If you treat a patient after the color has drained from their order bubble, the Quick Bonus meter in the upper right corner will reset and you’ll have to start over again.

Assist John with the treatment.

Part way through your shift, a patient will arrive in dire need of assistance. Help John treat the patient. The patient will be moved to the lower left corner. Allison will move faster than ever today! Today’s challenge should be a breeze, but try not to get ahead of yourself. If you find yourself moving too quickly, take a moment to pause and take inventory of the patients’ orders and requests.

The countdown meter in the upper right corner will show you how long it’s been since the last service. Getting combos today will be harder as a result, so manage patients with, well, patience!
